Dec 6 @ 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

dining table 1

Spend an evening in four of Washington’s most historic homes! The President Woodrow Wilson House, Dumbarton House, Anderson House, and Tudor Place all offer a festive evening , with décor, refreshments, and special live performances of holiday music at each site.

Make your merry way among the four historic houses featuring period installations and modern twists on Christmas, from the Federal period, to the 1960s, to now.

  • The President Woodrow Wilson House will be decorated fit for a president. This almost-100 year old home will offer crafts, live music, and a warm atmosphere that will take you back to the ways President Wilson would have celebrated the holidays.
  • At Dumbarton House, step back into the early days of the nation’s capital as the 1804 mansion comes alive with Federal-style Christmas decorations, live classical music, period crafts and light refreshments, including wassail, a traditional hot cider.
  • At Anderson House, enjoy a Gilded Age holiday with decorations, carolers, and light refreshments inspired by early 20th century traditions.
  • At Tudor Place, draw inspiration from the contemporary installation, Red, Green & Gold, the New and the Old: Tudor Place Sparkles for Christmas for your own home and for holiday cards you create in a drop-in workshop with Artist-in-Residence Peter Waddell.

Walk among the four sites or ride shuttle buses (free with your ticket).

Ticketing is through the Tudor Place website. Please find link above.
