With intimate and elegant spaces furnished with the personal effects of a president,
Wilson House offers the perfect surroundings in which to entertain in classic
Washington style. Dine intimately in the presidential dining room, enjoy cocktails
throughout the main museum rooms, linger in the tranquil period garden, or relax
and unwind on the terrace. Ideal for all your events, Wilson House epitomizes
the " Washington Scene."
The only presidential museum in Washington, DC, Wilson House offers a unique
setting for any occasion, from small board dinners to large garden receptions,
weddings to summer associate programs.
Museum staff members provide interpretation of the museum and
its collection for your guiests' enjoyment.
Conveniently located just five blocks from Dupont Circle in the
Embassy Row neighborhood, Woodrow Wilson House is an elegant and historic site
where your guests will feel comfortable and long remember your hospitality.
Capacity
In addition to the authentically furnished museum rooms, Wilson House offers
the use of the fully restored garden in two levels and a tile terrace. The main
museum rooms (the library, drawing room and dining room) and the gardens are
available to your guests throughout your event and can accommodate receptions
up to 175 in the house alone or 250 using both the house and garden.
Groups of 36 or fewer may dine in the presidential dining room
with cocktails throughout the house; larger groups may stroll through the museum
rooms and out to the terrace for a reception in the restored garden. Small meeting
rooms and luncheon space are available, as are catered tea tours for groups.

Meeting space up to 25 people is available on Mondays. Additional weekdays may
be available as the exhibition schedule permits.
Receptions or Dinners - Museum and garden $2850 - $5,600
Meetings - call for cost and availability.
Evening
event space is available between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and midnight.
Daytime events may be held on Mondays or in the garden as museum activities
permit.
Fees represent a maximum six hour use, including the time of the caterer to
set up and clean up.
Additional time may be contracted for $350 an hour.
Wilson House rental fees include use of the museum and garden, membership in
the National Trust for Historic Preservation, museum staff interpreters and
security. Your caterer will provide linens, tableware, and furniture as needed.
Security Deposit
A $500 refundable security deposit is required and will be refunded no later
than thirty (30) days after the event if it is determined that no damage has
occurred and no other charges are outstanding.
