During Covid, DC govt has lowered the speed limit on S Street by using some barriers. Just drive around the signs that say CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC to visit Wilson House.
The House is shown by guided tour on the hour; tours take approximately 1 hour. The last tour begins at 3 pm.

Closed weekdays in January, except for reserved group tours and rental events.
Closed for General Tours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
*Groups of 10+ and rental events can be accommodated outside normal business hours through advance reservation.
Staff is onsite every day, 9am-5pm Mon-Fri, to answer your calls regarding group tours and hosting your next event at the Wilson House.

We accommodate groups of ten or more at a discount for the General Tour by reservation. Please reserve at least one week in advance.
Reservations for group tours may be made for outside business hours. We are available for group tours all year long.

The Woodrow Wilson House is a historic structure without full accessibility.
However, there is access to the second and third floors through our small historic elevator and transfer chair. Please call 202-387-4062 for the dimensions of the elevator and other questions about accessibility.
The House follows the guidance of Federal Government offices in DC regarding opening and closing during inclement weather. Updates on closings or delayed openings may also be posted on Facebook.
